The site you are looking at. My old portfolio was a Jekyll site on GitHub Pages, first based on the Moonrise template and later on al-folio. It did its job, but it grew heavy with template features I never used, so I rebuilt it from scratch with a design of my own.

I designed the pages in Figma: a small style guide with three pastel colours, the Dongle typeface and my duck logo, plus page designs for the home, projects and CV pages.

• Astro generates a fully static site; the only client-side scripts are tiny ones for the dark mode toggle, galleries and the back-to-top button.
• Tailwind CSS for styling, with the Figma colours and type scale as design tokens and a derived dark mode.
• Every project is an MDX file in a typed content collection, using a handful of building blocks: images, carousels, before/after sliders and YouTube embeds.
• The CV page and the downloadable PDF CV are generated from the same data at build time.
• Hosted on Vercel, with type checks and builds running in GitHub Actions.
