Prove You Bleed

Prove You Bleed is a local two player fighting game: two monsters stab each other, but only after solving a captcha! It was made in 36h at the 2025 Hagenberg Game Jam with the theme artificial stupidity, hence the captchas. Built with Unity 6.

Player one uses WASD, player two the arrow keys. There are three captcha mini-games: stab the heart, push the nail into the eye, and crawl the bug into the brain. A fourth one, chopping up arms, sadly did not make it in.

As the only programmer with four artists I was a bit swamped, so the game is more art heavy than mechanic heavy. Some final asset integration had to happen after the jam; next time I will plan more time for integration. Still, I’m happy to have worked with such amazing artists!
